A page with standing
An entity, not a text field.
A company on CHiiRO isn't a text field on someone's profile. It's an entity with its own page, its own members and its own permissions. That's what makes the rest work: a job can be posted by the company rather than by a person who says they work there, documents can belong to the company rather than to whoever uploaded them, and when somebody leaves, they stop being able to act on the company's behalf — properly, in the system, not by a note in someone's calendar.
Membership that has tiers
Former member is a real state, not a deletion.
An invitation to a company carries the role it grants — member, admin, owner, or former member — rather than everyone arriving at the same level and being sorted out later. Former member is a real state, not a deletion: it records that someone was there, which is often true and useful, while removing what they can do. Getting this right is unglamorous and it is the difference between a company page you can trust and a directory entry anyone can claim.

Investment picture
For companies raising, described by you.
For companies raising, there's room for the investment picture and for what you're looking for — described by you, at whatever level of detail you're comfortable with, because a company page is a public-facing document and you're the one who decides how much of it is public.
Followers, not fans
An audience without a claim on your time.
Following a company is one-way and low-commitment, which is right — most people who want to track what you're building don't want a relationship with you, they want to know when something happens. Keeping following separate from connecting means your company can have an audience without every audience member becoming a claim on your time.
What you get
Post roles as the company, with the standing to back them.
Have a departure actually remove access, on the day it happens.
Record that somebody was here without pretending they still are.
Let people follow the company without adding to your inbox.
Questions and answers
Q.What is a company page on CHiiRO?
A company on CHiiRO is an entity with its own page, members, roles and permissions — not a text field on a profile. Jobs are posted by the company, documents belong to the company, and membership determines who can act on its behalf.
Q.How does company membership work on CHiiRO?
An invitation carries the role it grants — member, admin, owner or former member — rather than everyone joining at one level. Former member is a real recorded state that preserves the history while removing the person's ability to act for the company.
Q.What does company verification mean on CHiiRO?
That a code was sent to an address on the company's email domain and returned, proving someone controls an address there. It does not establish that the company is real, solvent or as described, and CHiiRO states that wherever the check appears.
Q.Can people follow a company on CHiiRO?
Yes. Following a company is one-way and needs no acceptance, so people can track what you are building without a two-sided connection. Connecting with individuals and following a company are deliberately separate things.
Q.Should a startup have a company page separate from founder profiles?
Yes — because roles, documents and permissions need to survive people joining and leaving. A company that lives inside one founder's profile loses everything when that founder's relationship to it changes, which is the common failure mode.
