In the app
Settings, then Delete Account.
- On the Home tab, tap your profile photo at the top left.
- On your profile, tap the gear icon to open Settings.
- At the bottom of Settings, under Logout, tap Delete Account.
- The app shows what will be removed. Type DELETE in the box, then tap Delete my account.
Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
By email — works for everyone
Or ask us to delete it.
Email hello@chiiro.co from the email address you signed up with, and say that you want your CHiiRO account deleted. You do not need the app to do this. We act within 30 days and tell you what was removed.
What is deleted, and what is kept
Read this before you delete.
Deletion is the one place where CHiiRO permanently erases data rather than archiving it. Your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, photo, profile, work history, uploaded files, direct messages, connections, votes, bookmarks and search history are erased and cannot be recovered.
Discussions, comments, questions and answers you posted stay up, shown as from “a removed account”, with your name and any link to you removed. Sign-in security records are kept with your identifiers removed. Server request logs are not deleted or changed. If you want a specific post gone, delete it before you delete your account.
